Thanks, my problem was I didn't know how to set the deny. I didn't realize I had to click on the permission to access the deny options. IBM support showed me how to do it and it is working correctly now.

I've done some more digging on this and noticed that if I use chrome, the interface is lightning-fast. Unfortunately Chrome is not a supported browser in my organisation, so I can't just move everyone over to it. I know I'm clutching at straws, but...

Really, the best and fastest way to determine this information is to open the model which contains the package.
