First thought will be is to use substring() or trim().

We are experiencing some slowness in the portal load. The Manage icon when clicked, takes a long time to load. It displays a white page, but the contents within load after a long time.

Thank you Bob. I don't see the widget resize. I am having some prompts on this report. This is in dynamic mode. isn't there a way previously using css in older versions. Its not working in cognos 11. what are my alternatives?
