whenever user login i want user to see one start page and enter some values in prompt then he should start creating dashboard. I have template i want to apply that template before he start creating dashboard. how to set default start page for dashboard...

If you press F12 in your web browser you can use the profiler to see which part is taking the most time. This is similar to Fiddler but more web based. Unfortunately even then you can get a inconclusive answer

When we convert report with prompt all queries filter anything coming from package goes away.

Can we have template which has mandatory prompt in it?

Is there a way to pull out all the details of the reports we have in jobs in Cog 10.2? We have the audit package enabled, if that helps?

Details I am looking for are mainly:

Email distribution list (if applicable)
Output settings
Source Report...

100% agreed nmcdermaid, I could rant for a while on IBM and Cognos (especially C11).

Noticed in another thread you said your issue was resolved with the invalid login response. Were there any smoking guns or just a more 'thorough' implementation?

Our install specialist says he has it working. The install I'm working on here is still not functioning. I'm starting a new install on a new VM next week I'll let you know how I go

I think I found the source of the high numbers. I had some extra grouping level that was not really used in the lists, but was lurking in the query and in the grouping and sorting. And that can apparently cause extra totalling... I found out when they ...

Hi,

Just an update: actually seems to work. Looks like my mistake in the testing procedure. So seems like a easy security concept not requiring any package publishing.

I have been through all my old posts and changed the hosting of images from photobucket.com to imgbb.com, so all being well my images are now visible again (to those that can access those sites, anyway)

Hi,
Do the users from all projects use the same packages and same reports or does your project has a separate folder where they run the reports from? If that is the case you can use the folder path and package name as filters and get the desired result...

You can try BSP metamanager(Script Runner) or Cognos SDK for your requirement. Email BSP and let them know your requirement and they will be happy to assist.

You can do this with Motio or BSP metamanager which your management has to buy. Or you can try Cognos SDK.

Hi,
Can you check the permissions of the Users that are having issues, for HTML Items in reportstudio and see if the user group is allowed to use HTML items?
