Cognos reports are not running in PDF format in Safari(Mac). Is that an issue or there is a fix in place. I was able to open other PDF documents in Safari

Can you please follow the below steps and see if this works -

1)Select the crosstab corner and crosstab node member that you want to hide (in this case Pricing Model).
2)set BoxType to 'None'
3)Drag & Drop 'crosstab space with fact cells' ...

reports created in report studio can be run in WSA just fine; i have yet to encounter any issues with that.

Event studio cannot do this. One option is the one like you said dumping the results into a table and comparing and the other option is to use outlook and excel macros to compare the results of 2 files and send an email based on the result.

There are limitations with cognos for requirements like this like all the other tools. If you have a pc that is running 24/7 you can do this with outlook.
