I would not call it a Forecast report. It is comparing actuals vs target, not forecasting anything.

I don't think Cognos has any forecasting ability. Ofcourse, you can add another column to calculate the growth rate of the last few years, add a certain...

There are methods of forecasting that use moving average and standard deviation functions to forecast future periods based on historical activity. Cognos has statistical functions that support this technique.

How do I connect an SDK application (running on a different server) to my Cognos Analytics server?! It seems like the dispatcher URI only works if I am trying to use the SDK on the Cognos server, I am unable to connect whatsoever from an external server.
