Oddly enough, I think it's working correctly. If you start with 5/31/2018 and add one to the month number, you get the 31st day since the beginning of June 2018. Rather than returning 6/31/2018, which is invalid, JavaScript intelligently returns 7/1/...

One of the signon types for cognos data source connections is cognos software service credentials.

What's the detailed steps to set this up? what needs to done on system side and database server? We're using SQL server 2012 and Cognos Analytics 11.

Please let me know cognos javascript api or code to add 1 month to current date. getmonth()+1 doesn't consider edge cases (like jan 31st + 1 month = Feb 28 but not Mar 2).

The audit package is part of the Cognos samples which can be download from passport advantadge. There you follow the instructions. The reports are a zip you use as deployment archive.

Sorry cant help you there. We backed out PA off the test server to run testing on TM1 10.2.2 with Cognos 11.0.11.
Cant remember the config and have not got back around to reinstalling PA.

No it should be out of the box datasource set up.

Cognos will have a tm1 datasource to select from then you just enter in your settings for TM1. Same server Cognos/tm1 install is not mandatory.
