Best tool for RAVE development

I am getting into developing RAVE visualizations (especially maps). For maps I'm using Mapbox to get geoJSON and plop it into Visualizaton Customizer 10.2.2.

I am wondering if there is a better tool for developing RAVE visualizations? Something...
